Gabriel Farrugia claims 10k National Championships, sets U23 NR

Gabriel Farrugia delivered a breathtaking performance at the 10k National Championships held at the Marsa Athletics Stadium, claiming victory with a strong ime of 30:46.48.

His dominant run not only secured the gold medal but also shattered the previous Under-23 national record, further establishing him as one of Malta’s most exciting young distance runners.

Farrugia’s win was the highlight of a spectacular showing by Evolve Endurance Club, which swept the podium in commanding fashion.

Veteran distance runner Charlton Debono claimed second place with a time of 32:40.59, while Aidan Tanti followed closely behind, clocking in at 32:42.21 to secure third.
