Athletics Malta is proud to announce the first Youth National Team Training Camp, scheduled for Tuesday, 7th and Wednesday, 8th April. This initiative is designed to provide a high-performance environment, ensuring a smooth and well-organised experience for our rising stars.
The camp focuses on several key event groups: throwers, hurdlers, middle-distance boys and sprints.
Athletes will benefit from a blend of local continuity and world-class international expertise. Our dedicated local coaching team and technical director will be adding to this wealth of knowledge with our esteemed Italian Coaches: Antonio Laguardia in sprints and jumps, Giorgio Ripamonte in hurdles, Olympics Medallist Nicola Vizzoni and Claudia Coslovich in throws.
Athletes will be accommodated at the Mediterranean College of Sport (MCS), with the full schedule coordinated by Athletics Malta. The camp includes education workshops by AIMS – the Authority for Integrity in Maltese Sport. The camp concludes on 8th April at the Marsa Athletics Track.
Athletics Malta is supported by the Malta Olympic Committee and SportMalta.
