Athletics Malta is pleased to announce that the Athletics Malta Stadium is now fully connected to the new SportMalta substation, marking a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to enhance the stadium’s infrastructure and energy reliability.
Following the recent completion of the new floodlighting installation, made possible through the support of the Energy and Water Agency (EWA), and the continued collaboration between Enemalta and SportMalta, the stadium now benefits from both state-of-the-art lighting and a stable, adequate power supply to meet current and future demands.
Athletics Malta extends its sincere appreciation to Enemalta, SportMalta, EWA, and to Sebestian, Jeremy, and all those involved, for their dedication, technical expertise, and commitment in bringing this project to fruition.
This achievement represents another important step forward in providing athletes and spectators with facilities that reflect the highest standards of performance, safety, and excellence.
